The series of videos showed live footage of Boats4Rent’s Clint Page along with City of Tempe Boating Coordinator, Alicia Jerger along with the camera crew taking a boat ride around Tempe Town Lake.

Started in 1999, the boat parade has become a beloved community tradition that really sparks the holiday spirit. This is one of the unique events in the entire city which attracts about 35, 000 spectators annually. You will witness a variety of parades including more than 50 festively lighted boats of all sizes, floats, marching bands and several other novelty units. During this time of the year, trees along Mill Avenue are lit up and more than a thousand luminaria shine brightly along the sidewalks and paths of Tempe Beach Park.
The boat parade will start at 6PM. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early so that you can find a good spot for viewing, grab something to eat and listen to live music. Admission is free, so everyone is encouraged to join! The parade will start from Mill Avenue to Rio Salado and will pass through Center Point Plaza and head north on Maple where it will conclude. After the parade, do not leave your spots because you don’t want to miss the night’s finale – the Fantasy of Lights Boat Parade fireworks display. The sky will light up with beautiful and colorful fireworks that will definitely make a grand closing.
A special guest will also grace the celebration. Jolly old Santa Claus will be making a visit to listen to the kids’ wish lists. This will be happen at the Tempe Beach Park. You are encouraged to bring your own cameras for free selfies with Santa and capture those special moments.
Boat Rentals of America will be open late with Hot Chocolate, Coffee and all kinds of treats for your enjoyment,restrooms and ATMs will also be available on site. You don’t have to worry about anything. All you have to do is have fun, make new friends, and create wonderful memories to treasure.
