Do you need experience to rent a boat?
No experience is required.
What do I need to rent a boat?
We require a matching credit/debit card and photo ID from someone over the age of 18.
Do you offer insurance?
We do not offer insurance. Customer is responsible for all damages.
How old do you have to be to drive the boats?
18 and older to drive the boat.
How old do passengers have to be?
There is no age limit, though some boats have safety requirements.
How many people are allowed on the boats?
Each boat has a maximum capacity; please check the specific boat you are renting. All persons count towards the maximum capacity.
Are lifejackets required?
While strongly recommended for everyone, the U. S. Coast Guard only requires passengers under the age of 13 to wear lifejackets at all times.
Do you provide life jackets?
Yes, we provide life jackets for all sizes.

Parking is located next to the Copper Sky Multigenerational Center.

Can we bring food and drink on the boats?
Absolutely, highly recommended. Space is limited on the boats; call our office for more details.
Can we bring alcohol on the boats?
No, at this time alcohol is not permitted on our boats.
Do you allow fishing?
Yes, customer is responsible for any damages or cleaning fees.
Do you allow swimming off your boats?
No swimming is allowed in Kiwanis Lake.
Do you allow pets?
Yes, however some rules and restrictions may apply.
Are coolers provided?
No, but you are welcome to bring your own small cooler.
What is the minimum rental time?
There is a 30 minute minimum then prorated in 30 minute intervals.
Is there a beach?
No.

Kiwanis Lake is approximately 5 acres
Is BBQing allowed?
No.
What is the cancellation policy?
We require 24 hours advance notice to cancel a reservation.
Can I reserve a boat for the same day?
Yes, reservations can be made up to 3 hours in advance of your departure time. Rentals with less that 3 hours notice can be done on on a walk in basis. Walk in rentals are first come, first serve.
Can we hire your company to drive the boat for us?
No.
