Our 17′ In-Harbor Powerboat is perfect for a relaxing cruise within the calm and scenic boundaries of Newport Harbor.

The chart below has a couple of our recommended tours. Each tour (Red and Green) will take approximately 1 hour in one of our powered boats (speed limit is 5 knots).
It’s been a long day, and unwinding with a harbor cruise at happy hour with some good friends, appetizers and your favorite beverages is the best way to unwind. Catch some rays in our outboard boats, enjoy the open air in our shaded Surrey Top electric boat, or relax anytime in our fully-enclosed model (shown below). Each model includes bluetooth stereo/speaker and built-in dining table.
Do you need experience to rent a boat?
No experience is necessary to drive our boats. We can teach you everything you need to know before you leave our dock. We do suggest novice boaters or customers with little boating experience take our smaller boats.
What do I need to rent a boat?
We require a matching credit/debit card and photo ID from someone over the age of 21.
Do I need to sign a contract?
Yes, all boats require a contract to be signed by a legal adult who will be onboard the boat.
Is a deposit required?
We keep a credit or debit card on file to be charge a minimum $500 damage deposit if damage occurs. If you do not cause damage to the boat, the charge is never processed.
Do you offer additional insurance?
No.
Where can I take the boat?
Usage areas depend on the boat you chose. Please check with our office if you have a specific area in mind.
How old do you have to be to drive the boats?
All drivers must be over the age of 21.
How old to passengers have to be?
There is no age limit, though some boats have safety requirements.
How many people are allowed on the boats?
Each boat has a maximum capacity, please check the specific boat you are renting. All persons regardless of age count towards the maximum capacity.
Are lifejackets required?
While strongly recommended for everyone, the U. S. Coast Guard requires passengers under the age of 14 to wear lifejackets at all times. If you cannot swim, you are also required to wear a lifejacket.
Do you provide life jackets?
Yes, we provide lifejackets for all sizes.
Where do I park?
All day parking can be found in the parking structure off of Adams St. and Bay Ave.(behind Newport landing restaurant), or the parking lot next to the Balboa Pier off Main St. Meter parking can be found throughout the area. Two hours is the maximum on all meters.

Can we bring food and drink on the boats?
Absolutely, highly recommended. Space is limited on the boats; call our office for more details. Keep in mind there can be a cleaning fee if the boat is left excessively messy. Excessive spilt food, drinks, trash or stains left on the boat can be charged an additional fee.
Can we bring alcohol on the boat?
Yes, however the driver is not allowed to consume alcohol. Keep in mind there can be a cleaning fee if the boat is left excessively messy. Excessive spilt food, drinks, trash or stains left on the boat can be charged an additional fee.
Do you allow fishing?
No, we do not allow fishing off of any our boats.
Do you allow swimming off your boats?
Swimming is not permitted off any motorized water craft, it is against the law. Swimming off kayaks and SUP’s is only permitted in designated beach areas.
Do you allow pets?
Pets are only allowed in the powerboats, pedal boats and kayaks. Pets are not allowed on our electric boats.
Are coolers provided?
No, but you are welcome to bring your own.
What is the minimum rental time?
All rentals require a 1-hour minimum.
What is the cancellation policy?
We require 24 hours advance notice to cancel a reservation.
What are the weather conditions?
Can I reserve a boat for the same day?
Yes, same day reservations can be made through our website or by calling into the office.
Can we hire your company to drive the boat for us?
No.
Can we decorate the boat?
Yes, decorations are allowed with a few guidelines. No mylar balloons are allowed on the boat. Decorations cannot obstruct the view of the driver, our dockhands will notify you if something is a problem. Decorations with glitter, confetti or other hard to clean materials are also not allowed.
