The pedal boat provides flexibility on the water. The seats may also revert to a sun lounger for two. Added bimini top provides great shade. Propelled by human power, you control the speed. Q: Do you sell any refreshments?
A: We have a wide array of drinks, ice cream, Icees & snacks available 7 days a week.

Q: Do you need experience to rent a boat?
A: No experience is required.

Q: What do I need to rent a boat?
A: We require a matching credit/debit card and photo ID from someone over the age on 18.

Q: Do you offer insurance?
A: We do not offer insurance. Customer is responsible for all damages.

Q: How old do you have to be to drive the boats?
A: 18 and older or 12 and older, depending on boat. A contract must be signed by an adult.

Q: How old do passengers have to be?
A: There is no age limit, though some boats have safety requirements.

Q: How many people are allowed on the boats?
A: Each boat has a maximum capacity, please check the specific boat you are renting. All persons regardless of age count towards the maximum capacity.

Q: Are lifejackets required?
A: While strongly recommended for everyone, the U. S. Coast Guard only requires passengers under the age of 13 to wear lifejackets at all times.

Q: Do you provide life jackets?
A: Yes, we provide life jackets for all sizes.

Q: Where do I park?
A: Parking is available in Kiwanis Park in the lot off of Baseline Road entrance

Q: Where are you located?
A: Kiwanis Community Park, north end of the lake next to the parking lot off Baseline Road.

Q: Can we bring food and drink on the boats?
A: Absolutely, highly recommended. Space is limited on the boats, call our office for more details.

Q: Can we bring alcohol on the boats?
A: No, at this time alcohol is not permitted on Tempe Town Lake.

Q: Do you allow fishing?
A: Yes.

Q: Do you allow swimming off your boats?
A: No swimming is allowed in Kiwanis Lake

Q: Do you allow pets?
A: Yes, however some rules and restriction may apply.

Q: Are coolers provided?
A: No, but you are welcome to bring your own.

Q: What is the minimum rental time?
A: There is a 1-hour minimum then prorated in 15 minute intervals.

Q: Is there a beach?
A: No.

Q: How big is the lake?
A: ½ mile long by 1/8 mile wide

Q: Is BBQing allowed?
A: BBQing is allowed in Kiwanis Park, however not on our boats.

Q: Can we hire your company to drive the boat for us?
A: No.


Q: Do I need to wear a helmet?
A: Individuals under the age of 18 are required to wear helmets at all times, however we strongly recommend that all participants wear a helmet.

Q: Do you provide locks?
A: No, at the moment we do not provide locks with our bike rentals.

A: Yes, contact our office for information regarding group rates, birthday parties & corporate outings.
